Moving away from performative ally ship and #hashtags to authentic change

Thursday, January 19, 2023 | 6:00 - 7:30 pm(EST) | Virtual

“There is no thing as a single-issue struggle because we do not live single-issue lives." - Audre Lorde, 1982 "Learning from the 60s"

This REAL Knowledge Series session will:

  • Discuss the importance of including intersectional identities in mainstream disability discussions.
  • Define intersectionality
  • Discuss moving away from performative allyship and "hashtags", towards authentic dialogues and tangible strategies.

Everyone is welcome!
